Invitation: Lecture by Dr. P. N. Bhargava on GM Foods

Dear friend,

The unbridled greed of Multinational corporations is rapidly threatening the very existence of human civilisation. In yet another devastating policy being pushed by the giant corporations of the developed countries on India, the Indian govt is pushing for granting approval to Bt Brinjal, which once done is going to open the floodgates for many more GM food crops. Once released into the environment, their impact is going to irreversible. And so, there have been widespread protests by activist groups all over the country to Bt Brinjal.

To create awareness about the devastating impact of GM foods on human beings, in the light of the current debate related to Bt Brinjal, Lokayat has invited Dr. P. N. Bhargava, one of India’s most distinguished scientists, to deliver a a series of three talks. The lectures are as below:
